Strange pulsing light on couch

I noticed something strange today . A pulsing light on a couch in my sims home.
Has anyone else noticed something like this and know what caused it or what it might mean?
Here are a few shots of it to give and idea what I'm talking about.

It means a teenager (or rebellious sim) has set a trap there.

Exacly what Seabody said. In this case a woopie cushion, I believe it's called like that. It will make a little, um, let's say noise.  ::)
