Generations->World adeventures glitch.

I have a sim that lives in bridgeport.

Every vacation he takes, I have to re-buy his vacation home, and none of the world adventure items come home with him.   This did not happen until after installing generations and the latest patch.

does anyone have any idea what is going on and more importantly a way to fix it?

The part about World Adventures items not making it back home appears to be a bug that started when Generations was released.  There's no fix for it yet.  The problem with the vacation home sounds like something new to me.

I am experiencing the exact same problem. I bought vacation homes in China, Egypt and France. They don't appear in my real estate list on my computer and I've already been back to china and France and had to repurchase my homes there.  All the changes and items I left behind like a portable stereo were still there, exactly where I left them. Meanwhile at home none of the big ticket items I bought on my trip made it through customs I guess.
