Where are the Egyptian Dangerous Creatures?

Hi,
I am trying to complete my collections after completing all the tombs, I have so far found some further rooms in the tombs (and the Pyramid of the Sky has an extra hidden bit outside! Was made up with that! ) but... Absolutely NO Statues of Ammit or Anubis! I have about 5 Fu Dogs, and even more Gargoyles so I don't have a problem in France or China, indeed I found them from the first tombs. What is going on with Egypt?
Has anybody else had the same problem? Is there any particular place where they appear, or re-spawn often? I'm on my third circuit of the Egyptian tombs now, with the Eye of Horus on, and zilch.

I found Anubis, but only one so far, somewhere in the Great Pyramid. No luck with Ammit statue. I'm hoping it'll pop up at the relics vendor. Almost half of the chinese vases collection did.

I keep checking with her but no luck so far. I live in hope though, the only time I've seen one of the creatures is on the display outside her store! I just find it so hard to believe that I've completed all the Egyptian tombs, got all the Sigils for them, got the Dropa stones available in Egypt, but no dangerous creatures. Dangerous? Rare to the point of non-existence in my game! I think there must be a glitch or something.

There is no simple answer to this. Relics from those collections are found entirely randomly. Look to the three destination guides: Egypt, France and China on the main guide and see that you have picked up all the relics from a particular "international" collection. The *only* relics that are static are the tomb sigils. They are always found in the same place. As for the others, you could clear all the tombs in a travel country and not find them all -- you'd then need to move on to dig sites to find more.

I found most of mine from excavation sites, I just use the Eye of Horus for that.  I found two of the gold statues from those sites, so not sure if this helps, but thought I would post it.

The Golden Statues are always at Horus' Sanctuary, because you need to use them there.

Thanks guys, I wouldn't even know what I was missing if it wasn't for this site!
I have the complete golden statue collection, can't seem to stop finding the golden snake everywhere! I was really surprised when I checked what I was missing in the Dangerous Creatures against the Carl's Sims list as I have probably spent more time in Egypt than anywhere else.
I have to admit though, I haven't done that many excavations, next time I go back I'll try to hit every one of them, thanks. Tonight though, I'm off to China to complete my vase collection (hopefully!!!)

Well, that's it - all collections completed apart from the dratted Dangerous Creatures. 2 Chinese Vases & the final Dropa Stone from the Chinese merchant, thank you very much! I think next time I go to Egypt I'll just hang around the merchant all day!

It'll help to remind you that items respawn at the merchant at 12:00. I still haven't been lucky with the statue of Ammit but I'm going to wait, since it's also my last collection.
