The Floor Hygienator and Babies!

I just learned something awesome! 

If you place a floor hygienator under a babies crib, it will not only give them a nice moodlet, but it will also increase their hygiene!
My little nooboo has one under her crib, and when she had a little accident the stupid babysitter didn't do anything about it.
However, the hygienator just slowly topped up her hygiene levels.
Voila, no more nappy changes  .

Apologies if this is already common knowledge .

Whoa, really?! I have floor hygienators everywhere in my Dynasty house. I wonder if putting them under all the beds would work for the older Sims too? No more morning showers before work/school. *Heads off to find out*

Oh, I used to have them under the babies cribs but decided to give up on them as they constantly gave the negative moodlet (feeling sick or similar), not only the positive ones... I guess I had bad quality hygienators. I didn't notice the hygiene going up, I have to check on that and give them a second chance. Thanks for the tip.

I used them under skill items, found out that with extensive use they will start giving negative moodlets, but I don't remember if it was a master invention or something bad quality. If someone else confirms we could do some research about it. I have an inventor ready to work

My Sims sleeping over hygienators set to "Scientific Refresher" scent slept all night and woke up with the Squeaky Clean moodlet! My Sims sleeping over hygienators set to "Happy Day Potpourri" scent woke up once during the night to throw up but still woke with the Squeaky Clean moodlet. I've changed the scent on these to "Scientific Refresher" to see if that makes a difference. I will report back.

Wow! That's so cool. I usually put them under door/archways so my sims have a moodlet whenever they move around the house. I have never thought to put them under beds and cribs.

They no longer give the negative moodlet when you master them (make 100 - the ones you made before you reached it still give negative ones). I would have 3 under each bed, each set to a different scent to get all the moodlets.
