When it says pass down, what about kids who are born when their parent/s are level 8 military will they get it after or Does a child have to be born after the parent reaches level 10?

My family got the Salute hidden trait from a military person who wasn't anywhere near level 10.  I'd say she was level 7 at the most, if that.  I suspect that the trait will be passed down no matter what level the parent achieves.

As a random note, in my family, where the Dad is chinese, one of the children eats with chopsticks (and knows one chinese song) while the other doesn't.  So I assume the hidden trait is not guaranteed to be passed down?  Mind you, if it makes any difference, the older child (who doesn't have the hidden traits) was born before the Dad moved in.

That's interesting, MegTrog.  Maybe it does matter if the parent doesn't live with them.  Does the child who uses chopsticks use them for every meal or just Chinese meals?

I had a sim who reached level 10 of medicine and retired, she was unable to tell the gender of her Daughter-In-Laws Baby. Does sit matter if they are twins? (The babies were)

I had a Sim who was pregnant with twins and the doctor was still able to tell the gender.  I don't think your Sim should lose that ability after retiring.

Carl don't have it in his guide, but I saw this youtube-video demonstrating the uses of it a while back: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXPy7t8cFeM

I've also find that not every fruit can be turned into a flame fruit, as pyromaniacs normally can. The thing is that if it fails (and every time I've tried it fails) the fruit just disapears in smoke. One poof, and gone is my fruit. You better save before trying if the fruit is rare.

And yes, I know this is an old topic, but I like to post it here instead of opening another Hidden Traits file. I'm testing things with HT's right now.
