Problem using the workbench

When I use the workbench first i get nothing than i noticed that things said somewhere around 400% complete
I tried a restart and it did not work, any help would be nice.
ohh and it was working before than randomly about when i got the master inventor challenge it did that.

Reading your question, I can't find your problem - can you give us some more information?

I do not get any items from inventing and i tried restarting my game which did not help

Have you tried resetting your Sim?
You need to press Ctrl+Shift+C, then type in the cheat bar that appears: "Resetsim Firstname Lastname".
Have you deleted the workbench and replaced it?
Have you restarted your computer?
Are you in Bridgeport?

ohh and i had to cheat to delete the workbench because it wouldn't let me move or delete it

It sounds like your save might be corrupted. If so, I reccommend you retrieve your last backup save game.
