CAS question
« on: June 09, 2011, 07:57:18 PM »
Does anybody know if you can take Sims back into CAS as many times as you want to using testingcheatsenabled true? I am thrilled that we can take Sims back into CAS and I noticed that the option works on most of the Sims in the game. There have been a few Sims that I click on that will not let me edit them in CAS. I have a NPC Sim that I added to my household and I edited her in CAS but when I tried to take her back into CAS the option will not pop up. Are we restricted to only one CAS visit for each Sim? I'm not talking about the dresser or mirror options, just the shift click option with testingcheatsenabled true on. Thanks  :)

We have unlimited access to CAS. If the option disappeared, it's something you did. I'm absolutely sure that cheat does not work for Vampires, so it probably doesn't work for mummies and simbots, either.

I do not have vampires, mummies or simbots.

I'm not sure what I could have done wrong since all I did was shift click on the new Sim I just added to my household and edited her in CAS. I wanted to take her back into CAS and so I shift clicked her again and the option is not there. Any new thoughts out there?

Are your testing cheats still enabled?  Is it possible that they accidentally got turned off?

It doesn't work for pregnant sims either, but I guess that makes sense. A pregnant toddler would be weird!  :o

Also make sure the NPC isn't in uniform when you try, I ran into that the other day.

Thanks Tommy 3000! She is expecting a baby so you have solved the mystery!

I think what happened is that she was in her first day of being pregnant and had not switched into maternity clothes yet. I will test this out and report back if I am wrong about this information. Thanks everybody for your suggestions!  ;D

*Update: I have tested this and once Sim is pregnant you can not take her into CAS whether she has changed into maternity clothes or not.
