Generations: Resetting Relationships?

Hi Everyone. Normally I hate to plague people with my issues my problems. However, I need help.

To begin with Generations did not work on my computer. So after much work and a complete reinstall...I now have it running just fine. However, each time I re-enter the game all relationships are reset. Married couples are no longer married. The family doesn't know each other. I'm at my wits end with this entire ep. Also "Try for Baby" does NOT work.

I've already called, emailed, and chatted with tech support through EA. I don't know what else to do.
