House: Life In Black and White

Lot Size: 20x30
Bedrooms: 3
Bathrooms: 2
Cost: 96,116
Cost when unfurnished: 46,451
Requires expansion/Sims 3 store content: WA, Amb, LN, HELS, and no store content!

Life In Black and White is a mainly monochromatic ranch style house with a hint of a throwback to the late 1960's/early 1970's. While the house is predominately decorated in either black or white, each room has a specific featured "pop" color, such as sky blue in the living room and red in the kitchen. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, while the two children's rooms share a jack and jill bathroom. The backyard features a sprinkler and a slide for hours of family fun, and of course two lounge chairs for Mom and Dad!

I hope you like it! This is the first house I'm sharing in the Swap Shop, so please let me know if I've done anything wrong. Thanks!

I like it! Especially the landscaping in the front. The red in the kitchen is great as well.

Thanks! I've always dreamed of having a kitchen that's black, white, and red all over.  ;D

The fridge seems a bit too white for the rest of the kitchen, but that's such a minor thing.

Yeah, I meant to recolor it to a not-so-bright shade of white, but in my excitement over the red and white dining set, I forgot.  ???

Thanks everyone! I'm glad you guys like it!

Totally off topic for a nanosecond...OMG another Big Bang Theory fan!  I love Sheldon and Amy!

Back on topic...Awesome house - the living room is so beautiful and very classy.  The red really makes the kitchen pop, and the landscaping is wonderful!  Thank you for sharing it!

I LOVE it!  That living room is awesome.  You've managed to make black and white, (which could look harsh if not done right), absolutely cozy and comfy feeling while still looking modern.  Great house.
