World Adventure Bug?

I have the latest patches for the WA installed and thought I had my problems solved, but I'm frustrated by this one and need help!

My Sim is in Egypt and was doing the "Third Relic" adventure where he had to find the Relic of Eternity.  He did. It's in his inventory, but the game won't let him deliver the relic (the "find the Relic of Eternity" label does not reset to "Deliver Relic"). Now, since he can't complete the adventure, that Sim can't advance any further.

Any suggestions?

Have you made sure the sim you need to deliver it too is still living or has a house? There have been some problems where the sim moves out and you can't contact him/her. If the person is still there but for some reason you can't deliver the item, try reseting that person. The NPCs can get stuck

Also try closing the game and restarting.

You can also cancel the adventure and pick it up again at the bulletin board.  This is what I do when I can't complete an adventure due to maybe the sim I am supposed to deliver to, moving out of town or going on vacation.

Thank you all! I tried all the expected fixes, including trying to delete the adventure, which I could not do. It resolved itself when a second Sim with the same adventure returned to Egypt, and got a message about not being able to complete the adventure because the recipient had died.  When it reset, it fixed it for everyone.

I still have the relic in my inventory and can't do a thing with it. Probably will resolve when and if I ever get the adventure again.

You should easily get it again if you're still visa level 0 or maybe 1 because some adventures don't spawn until you are a higher visa level
