Has the borked skill-gain system for young vampires been fixed with Generations?

I'm hoping to get Generations, but, if I have a vampire family, will the children learn skills at freakishly fast rates, with Generations? Has this bug (or more like, awesome glitch) been fixed?

Hmm I'll have to test that tonight.

They now sleep centered on their platforms again though woot!!!!
