The Sims 3 Update: Version 1.02

The world is ending! We finally have our first update!!

Seriously though, I got on today and we have an update. Version 1.02. What does it do? I've no idea! I can't find any info for it yet.
So you guys with the Save glitch could try it out then we'll know if it fixes the Save Glitch.

If I can't find any info on it I'm going to try to email them and ask.

Wow, after how many months? Hmm, 7 or more and we FINALLY got it fixed and hopefully other bugs are fixed.

So I guess it only fixes the save glitch, but hopefully that means that other glitches and more patches will be release at some point.

I have no information on an update when I started to launch my game or none on the sims3 site and it says no update available.  So maybe it has not hit yet and that link didn't offer any information either.

Of coarse the link is not helpful in finding where to get the update. IF that's what you were referring to in your last sentence.
It was to show that there IS an update and that you should already have it. Also, that it was for both 360 and PS3 owners.

I've no idea why you don't have yours but I got mine. Before I turned the game on I was logged on to PSN checking Netflix then I turned it off and logged off PSN and then turned the sims on. That's when I got a black screen with the update on it. So try to do it while logged on to PSN. If that doesn't work then maybe you don't have it yet and if it's not that then I'm sorry but I can't help you.

From what I read on other forums it was supposed to address the "save" glitch. However, I feel it has caused more problems than what was happening in the first place. Now, I come home to find my baby sitter gone and my kids lying in the street. I also have weird glitches that cause my Sims to get stuck on the weirdest items. If you are having issues I have found that clearing your cache seems to help along with installing the game to the hard drive. Of course, I only have a 360 so I don't know what can be done for Sony's product. Plus, if you didn't receive the auto-update then clearing the cache should allow it to download properly!
