Logic Book

my kids sim went and bought a logic book and now the wish wants him to read it. I click on the logic book and all it lets me do is put it away. I can play chess, but it seems my sim can't read any books. Help Thanks.

Is the sim in question a child sim, or is the sim in question being played by your child?

If it's the former, I don't believe that children sims can read skill books.  Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, as I may very well be.

Children can't read Skill Books.

Children can read the logic skill books.  Maybe your child is at too high or too low a level to read that specific book.  If you put it in the bookshelf and click on Browse, the game will notify you which books the sim in question can and cannot read.  I believe sims can read the first book (of any skill type) for skill levels 1-3, the second for 4-6, and the third book for level 7 on.

The third book now gives skill 7 to 8.

the third book is 7-10, but logic is the only skill books they can read, they have to start at vol 1, vol 2. vol 3
