I prefer the Thief branch of the Criminal Carrier.  Not only do you get the sneak action, and the fox statue, but you also have a chance of bring home stuff after work every day.  Last Legacy Challenge I played, my Mast Thief founder brought home so much artwork, I never had to buy any decor for the house.  Granted, after a week i would end up with like, 5 'Puck's Soliloquy'.  But hey, they added a nice decor bonus.

Must agree with Folcon :) I go Thief branch if i ever go criminal career. Simply due the statue and the occasional extra loot

Same here. Always the Thief branch.

Oh, that sucks Rica. Thanks for telling us. :(

Sorry guys.  Unfortunately as Artie found out, the moment you retire from being the Emperor - the glowdrops you like a sack of bricks.  It's been several Sim weeks since he retired in my game and he hasn't glowed once since his retirement.  I thought I remembered the EoE keeping the glow way back when but there is a good possibility that one of the patches broke it.
Therefore the criminal would be better, unless you never plan to quit and really like the red glow.

Nah, you stay in it long enough, and rack up enough raises after capping the branch, and you start bring in a butt load of money a night.  I think one game I played had my criminal bringing in about 850+/hr by the time Grimmy came for him.
