Certain skills stopped leveling

As the subject name says, some of my skills have stopped "growing". When reading from a book, they grow normally. But when I pain, or look through a telescope, my Logic and Painting skills don't seem to move. It happens only to them, I think, since I didn't try others, although Cooking seems to work normally.

Scratch that. They just don't grow. Some skills do, others don't. Handiness and Cooking grow. Mixology, Logic and Painting don't.

Can you tell us more about the problem, Morbid.  Is this problem happening in all your games or just one?  Are all your sims affected?  There have been reports elsewhere of Vampires who have been cured having problems learning skills - could that be a factor here?  Anything else you can think of that may relate to how this problem started?

Yes, it's a cured vampire. And it's only with one sim.

Vampires have been known to have trouble skilling after being cured.
