LabradoodlesThis is Jessica the Labradoodle. Doesn't she have a lovely smiling face?
Jessica belongs to jessiethedog and she holds the copyright of the image used above and in the patterns. The first image is the straight photo, the second has a canvas affect applied and the third has been tweaked to appear as a sketch.
I haven't been able to sleep so thought that I would create the promised patterns. Unfortunately, I think the tiredness may have affected the outcome, as you will see.
Diddly DoodleThis pattern, suitable for your diddly sims, has been saved as Miscellaneous and is based on the Kitty Kuddle pussycat pattern.
The pattern is fully recolourable, though it may be advisable to colour each channel individually unless you want Jessie's whiskers to recolour.
Jess CanvasThis pattern has been saved as Miscellaneous. It uses the canvas image of Jessica on a canvas textured background.
I expected it to look like this:
However, in game and in the pattern selection screen it looks like this:
It does actually appear lighter than the picture implies. This is a lighting failure on my part. I'm sorry.
The background can only be altered to black or grey. Jessie's nose and whiskers can be altered to any colour. It should have been the other way around, with the background recolourable.
*Shakes head at vagaries of CAP misbehaving though it is, undoubtedly 'operator error'*
Just JessThis pattern has been inadvertently saved as Fabric. I expected it to look like this:
However, in game and in the pattern selection area it looks like this:
Only one of the colour channels functions. Though I expect that it will be possible to alter the white squares to grey and black.
Jest JessI thought I'd colour the default in a style inspired by pop art and so I expected that this pattern, saved as Miscellaneous, would look like this:
However, the game decided that the colour scheme was just too much and, to save you the necessity of applying eye bleach, rendered the pattern default to this:
Instead of four, only one of the colour channels works. The white squares may be darkened to grey or black.
I'm currently sharing the faulty patterns as they are because I didn't save the patterns in CAP, silly me, and will need to recreate them to rectify the problem and I'm too sleepy now, sorry. I'm not completely sure but I believe that I should not have recoloured in CAP. Either that or tiredness has led me to make a mistake somewhere along the way.
I also apologise for the dark, in-game, wallpaper pictures. Now I think I need some sleep.
