I am at a loss...Sims wont move
« on: January 06, 2010, 05:11:08 AM »
Ok. My Sim has a toddler now and she just taught him how to talk, but they are both sitting on the floor and he keeps chatting away. I am not able to do anything and they both reallly need to be taken care of because one is in yellow and the other is in red. There is a huge red X over the picture of the toddler picture and also on one of my sim. Is there a way to get them back moving? Nothing is frozen they are both just sitting there but, the toddler keeps talking.

Hi Sondra!

Your Sims are just stuck and need to be reset.  Here's what you do:  Open the testing window by pressing Ctrl+Shift+C.  You'll know it's open because your screen will go a little dark and you'll be able to type letters.  The code you need to type is: "resetSim Firstname Lastname" then press Enter.  It's case sensitive, so you have to type it exactly as I've shown, except without the quote marks and using your Sim's actual names.  This will reset the Sim and it should all be fine.  :D

Thank you thank you thank you thank you. It worked. I owe you big time. I was starting to think I killed them both and had no idea how or that the game was messing up on me some how. Thank you again.
