What is Mummitomium???

Hi Rhapsody!

Mummitorium is like a metal that can be smelted.  For this quest in Egypt, if you'll go to the map view of the town, you should see tags at the spots where you can find mummitorium.  Click on the tag and the camera will zoom right on it for you to click and collect.

The best way to ask questions on the forum is to start a new topic with your question as the subject.  In your case, you could put it under the "World Adventures" heading because it's a question directly related to World Adventures.  That way, others can see your question and the responses and, hopefully, it will help future visitors.

I'm sorry it's not appearing on your map but that's the easiest way. I found mine near the pyramids and the river banks nearby.

Sometimes it will be very spread out on the map.  You really just have to keep looking and be thorough.

You should check map view regularly and just be patient. Mummitomium is very rare.

Once when I got that opportunity you mention there wasn't any Mummitomium anywhere for more than 2 days and finally my Sim had to go home. When she got back to Egypt it took another day and a half for one single piece to appear.

I'm on this very same adventure now and the Mummitomium is indeed rare.  Make sure that you've got your map view set to "All" so you'll be sure to see any that are available. I didn't see any the first couple of times, but finally got one to show up.  Also, think about collecting more than you need for the adventure because it's extremely valuable when smelted and you can keep and sell any extras you find.

Same thing happened to my Sim. She was doing the adventure where she needed to find 2 pieces of mummitomium and there wasn't any to be found. She had to leave Egypt and when she visited again, it finally showed up on the 2nd day. Now she's managed to find several more without hardly trying!

Sometimes it is also sold in the relic store. Not always, but sometimes!

Wow, I guess I've gotten really lucky. I've done this quest like three times on separate occasions, and I've never had to wait at all! The Mummitonium also was always at that mining spot that takes like 7 hours just to run to.
