Dragon of [your kingdom] Quest-- Help? Bug?

I use my knight and wizard for the quest. And it says that my wizard need to learn a fireproof spell. However, my wizard can't learn it. She learnt another spell instead, which is Alacrity. It is learnt from the Tournament of Honor Quest. And then I found out that the Alacrity spells the same as the fireproof spell, which is also Fire Light Energy accordingly. Therefore, my wizard can't learn the fireproof spell. Can anyone help? or is this a bug? (because the Alacrity spell is useless that I can't use it to the target) Or can anyone give me the Runes of the fireproof spell to see if I'm wrong?


If someone also use a wizard for this quest but not encountering this problem please let me know so that I can figure out whats the problem I may encounter

Hi Bullseye, and welcome to the forum!  Your English is just fine.  I edited your post to capitalize the word "I" but everything else is good. 

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question.  But you've explained the problem very clearly, so hopefully someone will come along soon who knows the answer.

You need to get your wizard to a higher level I think or you need to forget some spells to make room for new spells. I hope this helps.

Yes, I've found that if you *forget* the similar spell you will be allowed to prepare the spell you need.

Unfortunately some of the spells have the same rune combination, and it will only learn the first alphabetically of those you have access to. If you've tried unlearning Alacrity and it keeps relearning Alacrity instead of Fireproof then I'm afraid it's bugged. You can either use testingcheats to skip to the next part of the quest, find a mod that fixes the issue or quit.
