Launcher not working

My son just texted me, he downloaded the EADM from my account to his laptop and downloaded the base plus all the EPS and SPs and he updated as he went. When he starts the launcher, and clicks the button to start the game, it shuts down and nothing happens. anyideas??

My game on the PC is an EADM downloaded game as well and the launcher crashes almost every time I start the game, but my game still starts. I don't have any ideas on how to fix your issue (my husband is the computer brain) sorry.

EDIT: There is a way to play the game without using the launcher, and there is a thread here somewhere about that. *Wanders off to find it*
