How to increase Well Being?
« on: April 04, 2011, 03:03:52 AM »
I have unlocked about 3/4 of the Bar for Well Being on my Kingdom but only Two Hearts are filled in, it says there is disease in my kingdom. Will leveling up my Physician increase that, will doing the Prelude to Plague Quest help if I do it right?

Both would help ;)

Have you tried crafting several Strong Curative Tonics and medicating the wells in town?  I find that it helps keep the plague in check and is faster than trying to medicate each infected Sim.  That way you have more time to spend getting your Physician leveled up.

Right now my Well Being is very low and I just received 10 points toward my Watch Level Achievement.  I have been trying to raise my Well Being but it is still low.  Besides the plague, low Well Being also causes a drop in pay :(.

Your problem is that you aren't doing quests that will raise your kingdom's well-being next time you choose a quest, pick one that has a heart next to it's name on the list. Also, you can see what benefits a quest will give you when you finish it on the quest description page of the quest book. Just click on a quest and click 'next". The page on the left will list the different approaches to the quest, the page on the right will give you all the information on the quest.  Hover the mouse over the trophy at the top of the right-hand page and it will show you what benefits you'll get for completing the quest in bronze, silver, gold, or platinum. Remember that different approaches to the same quest will give you different rewards. PICK THE QUEST/APPROACH THAT WILL GIVE YOU THE MOST HEARTS.

Agreed. All you have to do is get the well being at the level with the second low aspect. For example if you have only 2 points in well being and the second low aspect, let's say culture, has 5 until you get 5 well being without getting more culture that well being will be low. When you have them at an equal level then both are going to be neutral or high depending on the other 2 aspects. Hope this helped.
