I did notice that when I was fishing for angelfish in sunset park I had 6 alleycat fish fresh from the market across the road. That the commanded option for the bait was written in green, compared to the normal black, I could fish with other baits but not the alleycat specific for angel fish. Eventually got a couple with the lure and went up to graveyard and the same thing happened again, when wanting to use angelfish.
This was for specific points in the water, that is examine water, checking to make sure the fish are in that spot then fishing with the bait on that spot, the choice of bait was written in green. Also i could fish another area of the pond, from the same standing position, and fish with the desired bait.
I found this bug to be specific for the exact area (us an anglers here in the uk call that "your swim" - the area in which you are fishing in dirfectly in front) in the pond for the desired fish.
I gave up trying and fished with lure making sure I was stood in behind the grim reaper, as I found if was fishing from the side I would catch just one a night, where as fishing from behind the reaper i would catch 3, at least, sometimes 4.
My skills at the time were lvl 10 and the only challenge I didnt have was commercial fisherman, I have it now tho.
I caught enough for my fridge and enough to stock my pond.
P.S. I might have had an odd rare seed tho. No special seeds tho, I always planted them a.s.a.p. and I have never bothered picking up an uncommon either.
