New Patch Available - Version 1.2.3.00107

I just saw on Facebook an announcement that a new patch is available to address many of the reported crashes. Good luck! I hope this resolves the issues described by some of our forum family.

It looks like the first one is an old patch right about game release time, comments on it are from a week ago and the quests it lists are already in the game.

The second one looks right but there are not release notes.

I don't have the game yet so I am not really sure...the game is probably patched via the launcher.  I will probably get the digital version.

mmm, Just went to fire up the game and was told there was an update available, but when I went to install it, it said any quests in progress will be reset! Anyone know to what extent that is? I haven't played enough to worry about things being reset, but both the twinkids have taken a real shine to the game and I doubt they will be happy if they lose a lot of work they've done.

After I updated, the quest I had currently been on was reset, all other quests done seem to remain, and, I'm not sure, but I seemed to have kept all experience gained from the quest, although I'm not 100% on that

OK, thanks Darkhadia, I might wait till they get home and get them to finish any quests before I update it.

Although I can't confirm or deny any losses to experience gained and to whether or not the patch only affects the current quest that you are playing, I can confirm that it appears to have fixed the crashing problem when placing a security building that brings the current (available?) security up to level seven.

I've finally managed to place a building for a spy.    For some reason, this odd little guy makes me smile.



Oh dear, perhaps I shouldn't have shown his picture?  Aren't spies meant to be anonymous?

When I started the game after installing the patch, my current quest was indeed gone.  It took me to the page where I have to choose another quest and the quest I was working on was no longer available.  I don't know about experience, though, because I'm going to play a different Hero now.

Experience does not seem to reset as far as I can tell, just the quest itself.

That seemed to be my experience, my Monarch got to level 6 after the patch, by doing the same quest that I'd had her doing before the reset, and she got to that level at a point before where she had been at when the quest had reset (if that makes sense?), I hadn't done anything differently with her as far as I remember either...

Not big issues, just like my sim going outside to have a bath when her bath is in the upstairs bedroom
