I lost my level 10 monarch... any cheat or anything to get him back?

Oh I'm annoyed. I finally finished New Beginnings, and it was pretty unclear what was going on... I did the quest for my 10 monarch to start a new kingdom, and it took me back to the village view, but it said it needed a monarch. I thought it was the start of the new ambition, so I selected him... then realized it was still my first town and went back to the menu without saving.

Well, now my monarch isn't a selectable option anymore in the new ambition (or in my old town for that matter). *sigh* Do I have to start over?

My sister just had this same thing happen.  When you got to the end of your first Ambition, did you get the option to choose new help and builders for your new kingdom?   The only game we have a carry over on, is the second ambition, after that, we have to start over again.  If you finished the second ambition, then you don't have your old Monarch.

Yes I did that quest and he was in the menu I'm guessing as soon as I selected him he was gone, even if I didn't save. So annoying. I really don't want to have to level a monarch to 10 again right now!

Where are my manners, welcome to the forum.  This game can get a little tricky sometimes.  I realized after I finished the first ambition, if you choose the free play, you lose out on the carryover, but if you choose continue to new game, it takes you back to your original game and you continue on from there and choose your staff for the next game.  Too bad you don't get carryovers throughout all of those games.  It takes alot of time to get your hero's to level 10, so I know what you mean.

I believe you also need a certain amount of money to be able to take a sim forward to your next quest.  I can't remember how much it is and I can't access the site where I read it at work, but it made sense to me why my monarch didn't go forward even though he hired the crew and sailed off into the sunset.  I finally got one to go forward when I had the money.  It was on my third or fourth ambition.  I ruined it all by killing him off in one of the quests but that is a different story.

Im glad I read this one, as my first post with saltypaws.  I couldnt carry my monarch over and I didnt do freeplay and I had a bundle of cash, in fact it didnt let me carry over any of my heros.

Any help please?
