Chapter 4 - Any? Many? Miny? Moe!

Time went by, as time often does. I was afraid my life would go away. My studies at the library paid off though, I learned to do some gardening and in my fishing trips I even found a new friend, his name is 'Capitan Gardin' and he guards my lovely plants at night. But Moe...he was too busy for me. He always had other things to do, or was at work, or just didn't feel like coming over. I began to think he had moved on.

So I met Chase, and I thought we had a lot in common and we did. But then I learned he was uncomfortable with people talking about romantic or flirty things with him and one day I invited him over to fish, and he ran away...he fled because I told him his beard looked nice. I was so upset I made a call...

...I must've sounded very upset because he rushed back over, dressed in his hospital scrubs and he took me in his arms.

"Shhh, Redeesha, goodness...it is okay. I'm here. You don't have to cry, I'm sorry I haven't been around work has been crazy...are you alright? I thought you were choking on the phone and I rushed right over to help you..."

"I'm o-okay, now that...wait, are you touching me? Are we actually hugging? I'm...I'm okay now Moe, now that you're here. I'm sorry if I bothered you I just..."

I was in his arms and I knew in my heart, that I had been right all alone. This was my soul mate. He had left work to come to my aid, when I hadn't seen him in so many hours...

Before I knew it I was on my knees. Where I pulled the ring out of, I'm not sure. But I was told that all Sims in Simworld are unlike those from my own home...they can pull expensive items out of their butts. So I reached into the invisible back pocket and pulled out the ring and proposed to him. It shocked him to no end, but he accepted!

I told him I didn't have much money, and I couldn't afford a very big party...but he said that was okay. The fish and the Garden Gnome could be our guests and we'd have our own little private ceremony.

"I, Moe, take you Redeesha, to be my beautiful...exotic fish addicted wife. To have, and to hold, and to learn how to paint so I can paint you a portrait...til death do us part. But only my death because you've already told me you plan to be immortal and that's okay because have you looked in a mirror? You are the hottest thing since the historic Bella Goth from waaaay back in the day...um, with this ring I seal my promise."

"I, Redeesha, take you Moe...to be my lovely husband with the Italian sounding last name I cannot pronounce or spell but don't really care because you're so cute! Um, To have, and to hold and to cook for and and to have at least one baby for, til your death do us part because I have to work hard to complete tasks and eat magical jello so I live forever...so sorry honey but it is my job. With this ring, I seal my promise."

Then the Fridge told us...that we could kiss. So we did. And with that...he became Prince Moe Roygbiv, my husband, my artist, my doctor and my confidant. We were as one.

He got out of his scrubs after the 'ceremony' and told me, as nicely as he possible could. "Reddy, darling. Now that we're married I feel the need to tell you...your lot is the filthiest thing I have ever seen. I know you don't have time to clean baby. That's okay, but let me get started. Please. Before our honeymoon night...there's something growing in the sink and I'm afraid it has gained sentience."

So I just went to take a nap, and sleep. The last few hours had been exhausting. He said he'd take care of everything.

He spent time moving his things in, I spent time resting up for our special night. Moe had purchased me a gift! A lot of fish bowls for my future fishie friends and as he looked in my eyes, and I looked in his eyes...we both decided to call the baby stork and go see how much of the sun our new canopied bed really blocked out.

A day or two later, I woke up in the middle of the night. My gown had changed colors. Moe just snoozed away as I had a feeling of knowing come over me. Something was growing inside of me, I was practically penniless. My husband had to divide time between his medical career and his learning to paint...and I wasn't even close to being prepared to become Immortal. I'd have to step up my game.

Tune in Next Time to see...Is it a baby?

*As a side note? Moe was so awesome. I like to think he is Italian because his favorite music is Classical and his favorite food is Spagetti. Ironically enough, the next generation will be 'Orange' and guess what Moe's favorite colors is? Orange! His traits are Good Sense of Humor, Workaholic, Loves the Outdoors, Handy, and Angler. Wait til you see what happens next! Also a note about the 'cleaning' comment. I swear right after they got married...the thought bubble about cleaning popped up and I just laughed and had to capture it. Because it was so nasty around there.

Chapter 5 - And Baby Makes Three

We fell into a routine, Moe and I. I got a letter from my mother encouraging me to have a female heir and sending all types of silly recipes and suggestions. Apparently, as a 'sim', if I eat watermelons, I'll have a female. So, in the morning, we'd eat watermelon pancakes made from the excess watermelons left over from my eating them through out the day. I kept asking if he liked them, he'd just...finish eating and smile at me.

Between painting and work, the time we spent together was minimal. The pond close to our house allowed me to fish for hours and he'd just hold me close before leaving for work, saying goodbye to me and the baby.

Then he'd go to work, carrying a big strange needle gun and stabbing/shooting people with it in the park. They'd line up for his experimental injections as well. He had a theory that using fish DNA with sneezle medication would keep people from growing scales or something.

He had a birthday, quietly and by himself. Didn't make a bit deal out of it. He knew he was older and more experienced than me.

Anyhow, routine isn't always a good thing. He left for work one morning and while I was out gardening, I felt a pain. I tried to call him, I really did but the baby was coming!

(I totally forgot he actually worked at the hospital so he was already there and I didn't need to call him and he was prepared to hold my hand so we'll skip by this part.)

And that is the day /she/ came into our lives. Baby Orgeesha Roygbiv. Future Princess of the Roygbiv family. Cute as a button little pea pod.

Very quiet baby, the doctors told us she was Disciplined and a potential Virtuoso. She responded best to Latin music, the scent of Hot Dogs and when they shined the Pink Light during her testing, she responded favorably.

The night before, when my husband had his secret birthday party, would be the last night we'd sleep through the night for a very long time. When I'd wake up thinking it was because I had to pee...I could almost be sure, that she would as well. And so, motherhood began.

Tune in Next Time to see...So what about the terrible twos?

Chapter 6 - Family Life Begins

A beautiful baby girl and a beautiful new life. Even though we didn't have a technical house yet, our love for our precious little bundle of pink and brown.

I found myself having later nights, after putting the baby to bed and while the husband was still at work. I'd use whatever I caught for the day to make sushi or little meals I could eat. Think about the day.

We never had many visitors. The shy man I had attempted to court before I married Moe however, Chase? He showed up one day asking if he could hold the baby. Apparently he was sad he'd never have a family and he became like a grandfather to Orgeesha.

It was like having a family friend, or a family member who was a friend. He'd visit. I'd cook sandwiches. Everything seemed ever so lovely.

Then during one visit...he suddenly died. Just like that, no more Chase, just a ghost. He looked happy to go though, as if it was his time. It was still rather shocking however.

The next morning, we had Orgeesha's birthday party. That moment in every special Princess's life where they go from pink grub with a face to...a beautiful tiny sim.

And beautiful little Sim indeed. A real daddy's girl!

For some reason her father insisted on dressing her like a bunny rabbit. She got his hair color and a unique eye color. Alas, I suppose we can't all have lovely red hair. But she'd be the line of Orange, so she had the right to not have my hair.

She'd stay up late, dressed like a bunny rabbit, playing music with her little instrument, banging away and giggling before morning would come...

And we couldn't find her! Because she'd be hiding away in her pirate toy chest, thinking it was the funniest thing since something really funny.

Over all, she was a sweet little toddler, even if her bunny suit was odd. She loved rabbits though, her favorite toy was her pink bunny and she'd play with it for hours. No complaining, just music and bunny rabbits. The future heir to the family line.

Tune in next time to see the childhood years! And whether or not they finally get a house!

Unfortunately this dynasty failed due to a bad crash that made me have to reinstall everything and lose my old families. I have every intention of trying this again nod day however. I really loved this challenge. Thank you all again.
