Jacoban Priest problem

My priest is having trouble with reflect on the watcher. He can't do it for more than a few moments and the responsibility does not respond it still says he has two hours to go, he's Level 2, I don't know if that makes a difference. Anyone got any ideas?

If you're clicking on the stone in the foyer between the bedroom and main chamber of the cathedral to reflect on the watcher, they'll only do it for a minute or so and then quit.  If you click on your priest as a self-interaction there should be a thing that says "reflect on the watcher" that will let you do it indefinitely to complete the responsibility.
