My first sim I made was single and I think on my 5th week I noticed a very faired haired young man when my sim was working part time in the grocery store. I usually check the sitting area and watch the sims there, so when I saw him he instantly caught my attention. For the life of me I can not remember what his last name was, his first name is Brice and he has a sister named Amelia who is a red head. I made friends with him and got to know his traits (only had 3 but they were traits that I liked) and he was obviously in the adult range. I had noticed that teens are shorter then adults. I just didn't know which adult he was. So when he started looking as if he was getting older (I now know it was because he has a fluctuating weight problem and the way the sunlight hit is hair didn't help either) I started to rush the relationship along. I don't remember what week I got married but I finally did. xD I also found out that he didn't instantly move in with me. **ed me off to no end but solved that issue quickly. It turned out he was in the early stages of his Young Adult life while I was near the end of MY Adult life (Hello there Mrs. Robinson). He does morning work outs when he wakes up to keep his weight issue down. When I first got him he had baaaaad taste in clothes. xD lol He's great though.

His sister is a whooole other story. I never really payed much attention to her when I saw her walking around town but when I got together with Brice I noticed that Amelia was his sister. They lived in the same house. So I started to get to know her better and at first she was with someone (tacky looking individual) and she eventually had a kid with him. I never saw him as a baby but as a toddler. He is such a cutey. I had Brice in the park playing the guitar for tips and I noticed Amelia was there and she was crying. So I when I did Friendly it said to 'cheer up' and 'comfort' and eventually she was okay, sort of. Funny thing is a male sim came up to her and started to talk to her and made her laugh and having an all around good time. So, I left knowing that she was okay. I think a week later I had Lucie (my girl) visit her at the house and I saw my nephew (haven't played this family in a while so I forgot his name) on the ground outside. So I played with him and fed him and kept him company till she came home. Which bothered me and this type of thing would not be the last. A couple of days after I had Brice visit instead and again he was outside again but this time it was really late at night. I had no choice but to leave, it was midnight and his energy was low and I couldn't get in to the house. I came back the day after and she nor the baby was there. So I thought everything was okay and came back about 3 or so days later and again he was outside in the dark on the grass and no one was home. I was beyond upset so I let Brice hang with the baby while I waited for Amelia to come home. Suddenly my girl came over right after she got out of work. Which surprised me. I then noticed her going to the back of the house so I left Brice with his nephew and followed my girl Lucie and guess what? She was playing with ANOTHER toddler. So that's when I found out Amelia had another kid who suspiciously looked like the guy who was cheering her up at the park two weeks ago. So this WHOLE time Brice was playing upfront with his nephew he had another nephew who was neglected for hours! I got SO mad but I had to leave because I didn't have the energy. They both didn't. From then on, I tried making as many visits as I could to see how many times these kids are being left outside for hours on end. Sometimes they were both outside and sometimes I only found 1 outside while nobody else was home. There were no cribs inside either so the kids would just cry till they fell asleep on the floor (can't believe they don't automatically gain a crib when they have a kid.) So I got fed up. These kids had beautiful traits - Friendly, Excitable & Virtuoso - and I didn't want that to get ruined by gaining bad traits from neglect. Since Brice moved in with me I gained 11k on top of the 600+ I gained every paycheck. So I made a 2nd floor and forced Amelia and the two boys to move in with me. They now live upstairs while my sim Lucie and Brice live downstairs. Sadly because of the fire bar I was only able to make bedrooms and 1 bathroom upstairs. Along with baby toys and books. I SO wanted to kick her butt out when I got those kids but my girl still had to work and only 1 sim can pick up 1 toddler. No way was I going to do a repeat performance of Amelia. At first it was difficult for me to get a handle on controlling ALL these sims PLUS toddlers but I eventually got better at it. I still haven't been able to leave the house or go to the park to play for tips or anything else for that matter. That family is on week 14 or 15. I haven't played them for a while since I'm afraid I'll get the Save Glitch and I don't want that to happen. So I've made 3 more familys to split my time with.
Sorry this is waaaay off topic but I find Amelia's story very fun to tell. xD
So per this thread: Brice is single and Amelia is sometimes single. xD
When I load my save file I'll find out Amelia's last name which would be Brice's as well. I made the mistake of me proposing to him and he gained my name instead. I think it was Leary but from what I have noticed the only thing that usually stays the same when starting new games is the first name. Sometimes they keep the last name, like Cevin Faron who I usually saw living in The Cliques house with Morgan Flynn & Rain. Sims like Trevor Burton (the musician) his lastname has been Leary in one of my saves. The houses they live in can change as well. Like Cevin Faron in my most recent save file is living in the Choate household and has a baby. Which is the default house you have to choose from when first starting a sim. It's the one infront of the playground.
The funny thing is I haven't seen Brice nor Amelia in any of my other save files. I've seen other sims I've never met before, like the Repoman. I can't remember his name but he looked very unique and was at the playground park. There is also Mr. Choate (very difficult first name) and there was another sim I saw but haven't seen again who had a very difficult long name but looked really cool. I never had a chance to talk to him since he was running by my house when my sims were working ;(
I'm thinking of using the Romantic option "Ask If Single" to see how many of these sims are involved. When I do get around to it, I'll try and make a list and add it here. The thing is it doesn't mean they will be single in someone elses game. The best you can do with your single sim is to turn aging off and wait till you see a male/female sim that interests you. Find out as much of there traits as possible and then use the Romantic Option "Ask If Single". Be mindful of there traits though. I heard Flirty sims (even worse when combined with Good Kisser) will have affairs while at work. Either with the boss or co-workers. Morgan Flynn has the worst traits. Would NOT choose him if you want a monogamous relationship.
His traits don't seem to change in any of the saves files I've had and still lives in that Mansion of his.
