Apparently they're coming out with a patch to fix the save glitch

I went on the live chat thing and was talking to Rodney and told him about the save glitch people were having and he told me to wait 24-36 hours because a patch was coming out soon. I guess thesims3.com is going to put up info about the patch and what issues it's going to fix. I'm not getting my hopes up since they put out 3 or 4 stuff packs before they started on the patch to fix the save glitch.

PC and Mac users have been waiting on fixes for certain WA issues for about 2 years now.  Likewise, the console version has only been out about 6 months, so I can say with a good deal of certainty that they haven't released 3-4 anything since it's release.  Late Night was released on the same day as the console version, and the only thing to come out since then is Outdoor Living Stuff.

Actually they have made a hair pack, I think a lounge equipment pack, and I think something else as a dlc or whatever it's called. They also came out with the Prius pack for X-box. So, yes, they have came out with 3 or 4 things since it's been out, lol.

Like you said, wouldn't get your hopes up and believe everything you hear, unless it is expressly from EA.  We have been waiting for a patch, which seems like forever for the PC version.  Maybe one day, we might get our wish.

Well, one of the guys I was talking to made it seem like they were actually working on a patch for the console version of the game. But, yeah, like I said, I'm not getting my hopes up, lol. I'll believe it when it actually comes out.

Are you talking about store items?  If so, those come out all the time because it doesn't really take a whole lot of effort to create them.  New meshes are so easy to make, that players often create new ones themselves.  When you factor in that EA actually has the proper tools to make them, they can probably whip one out in a couple hours, max.

Stuff packs on disc require a lot more effort, because every new disk has to be capable of running the game.
