Filling In Basements

Is it possible to fill in a basement on a lot (make it go away). If so, how?

You should be able to delete your basement in built mode, click on basement tool, than hold CTRL and drag, same as with pool, or walls. Also, you can use the hammer tool in build mode and click and drag and you'll delete it. It may prevent you to delete right away if you have some lights or pictures or some other object in it, but after deleting those objects you should  be able to delete basement too.
