Icons have disappeared!

I'm having problems viewing locations in Late Night. Whenever I go to town view the icons that tell you what/who is where, have disappeared. They only work for one member of my family, for the rest of them it's guess work!

Does anyone have any ideas on what went wrong and how I can fix it?

It sounds like you inadvertently set the town view filter to  "home and work only."  I apologize if these screen shots are difficult to see, but they should give you an idea of where to look:

In town view mode, there's a button (circled).  This is the icon filter.



Click it, and it opens up the filter option menu.  To get all the icons back, click "All."

Yea, I thought that might have been the problem too but I have all the whole family on "All" but only one member can see the locations. It's really strange!

I had this happend with dynasty game, and it was an early sign of corrupted file. After restarting game, sometimes icons will reappear, but eventually disappear again. Than, some Sims become invisible, than LTW disappeared, then I could have only one active Sim with messed up controls, etc. I lost that file, but restarting game would sometimes help even if you save with no icons in town view, but as I said, it didn't stop there. Only difference is that I couldn't see any icon in map view no matter which Sim in household is active.
