Since you all started talking about the latest game patch (2.2) for WA, I have been following along until a few days ago when I finally decided it was time to add it to my game. First off I went to my game launcher and tried to update/patch from there. No go as now it is once again saying that I am not connected to the internet. So.....I head off to the official site to get the update/patch. For the life of me, I can't find a button to click to even begin the download process. At this time, I was pretty frustrated by the experience so I decided to contact EA and have them help me. I explained the process that I had gone through so far and they gave me a page to use to figure out the problem. I looked at it and then replied to them that none of it applied to me and my problem. So they suggested I use Mozilla/Firefox to connect to the internet and that should work and if it did not, to delete my game and then re-install. Connecting through Firefox did not work, so I followed the directions to the T, that they had given me for the uninstall and ended up losing all my saved games and content from the store. I re-installed the game and still no option to get this darn Patch/Update.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for me? I am about to un-install everything and start from scratch but do not want to lose the one saved game I have at this time.
