Ghost hunter not paid

Has anyone else had this glitch? My ghosthunter (level 10) did his job but the box denoting how many ghosts to find and banish did not acknowledge his work or pay him for ghosts dispatched. When I went back in game it had sorted itself out thank goodness, but I don't know what caused it in the first place

I just started having this problem, too.  Would love to know if anyone knows whether it can be fixed.

Update: I tried restarting.  That seemed to do the trick.

I found the ghosthunter profession very glitchy and gave up on it once my sim reached level 10. I had instances where the sim could not clear the house no matter how many ghosts she busted and there were instances where she didn't get paid as well.  The good thing that came of it though was that now my ex ghostbuster is now brave enough to tackle burglars.

Yes, this is one of several semi-regular glitches with the Ghost Hunter profession.  It can make it difficult to reach level 10, but it's far from impossible.  Besides, you can still receive some compensation by collecting all the spirits and selling them at the science center, despite the fact that they're not registering towards completion of the job.
