Can you adopt children with world adventures?

I mean can you adopt children from different parts of the world? Like China, Africa, or even other third world countries? That would be great, especially for MaryKay Shallow.

As far as I know, you can't. It's just impossible to have the adopt option because services are grayed out if you're on a vacation. But, you can occasionally 'get' children in your family tree just by interacting with some specific sims in foreign countries. This is a widely known bug that occurs nearly to everyone but lucky people. :-)

I mean like if you go to your phone "call for services" and select "adoption" other than a baby toddler and child, you can select a child from Africa, China etc.

No, I'm just talking about the bug when you have children in the family tree after going on vacation, but your sim is not even acquaintances with their mothers/fathers. Some people have said that there are specific sims in foreign countries that cause this bug.

No, you don't get to choose a country for the child.  You only get to choose age and gender.

Bummer. It would be cool to adopt a child from China or Africa. Make an Angelina Jolie persona out of MaryKay Shallow (premade Riverview sim)
