Half of my Sim's family seems to be on vacation or something...

A while back I had a Twinbrook save that I deleted, possibly without meaning to. My Sim had moved away to Strangetown alongside his mother and Imaginary Friend. I managed to sort of recover that save by travelling back to Twinbrook, but the relationships panel has his father, half-brother and stepmother darkened, and their house indicates they "aren't home", which isn't fixed by Reset Everything. I don't remember sending them anywhere before my Sim moved away, but will they come back?

It sounds like the game may have possibly culled/removed the extended family (Father, step-mother, half brother). If that's the case they maybe gone for good?

Unless you were able to save a previous copy of the extended family to the library before they were removed?

You might try asking over at Nraas (https://www.nraas.net) to see if they can help?

Does it count as culling/removing if other Sims in town can invite them to visit when made active using Nraas MasterController? Also, the dog is apparently in the house alone, so it doesn't seem likely they were culled.

You know, I'm not sure. It does sound like there's a glitch of some sort. I just don't know how to fix it.

Well, I managed to save after having one of them invited over, so we shall see what opportunities that may bring when I start the game up again...
