WCIF a mod for more control of at-home sims?

Do you ever have a sim go on a date at 10pm, then come home at 3am to find all the kids out of bed and Grandma setting the bbq on fire? It's hard to take a sim off lot when the sims left behind devolve into chaos!

WCIF a mod that either:

• lets sleeping kids (and adults, and dogs, etc.) lie so that they are exactly as they were when the sim left; or
• provides more granular control over the sims left at home, including a 'sleep' option?

I'm not sure where you might be able to find mods like that. However, if you haven't, you might consider asking at ModtheSims, Answers.ea and/or Sims4Studio.
