EA app keeps crashing to my desktop - Fixed!!

Happy new year!

I just want to ask if any of you are having trouble with EA app crashing? the thing is it's only for sims 3. sims 2, 4 and other games i have downloaded in are OK it is just sims 3 that won't start. and nevermind getting help from EA folks. totally unavailable

I figured it out! it's one of the mods i downloaded. haven't pin-pointed exactly WHICH one, so i took the entire mods folder out and now the game is running. in case anyone ELSE may run into the same issue. ugg
