2024 Sims 4 Challenge Tournament Schedule

January 1 - January 7. New Year's Resolutions.
New Year, new Sim! Or, at least, an attempt to stick to the idea of being a better, more productive version of Sim-self. With the New Year Holiday, you'll assign resolutions to your Sims and see how many can be achieved before time runs out! Good luck, Simmers. Ruleset.

January 8 - January 21. 24 Tasks for 2024.
Your Sim household is ready to put their pixelated noses to the grindstone -- leveling skills, making friends, going on vacation, collecting things, the whole gamut. So, in honor of the start of '24, the challenge team is giving your Sims 24 tasks to complete as quickly as possible. Ruleset.

February 5 - 11. Something Crafty This Way Comes.
Think your Sims can carve out a win? First, they'll need to carve out some expensive sculptures. Or paint some Masterpieces. Maybe even stomp those grapes to make some excellent nectar. Whatever your Sims decide, they need to make every item count for maximum profit -- they won't have long to get crafty. Ruleset.

February 12 - February 25. Speed Dating.
It's that time of year again, and while some Sims are gearing up to spend the day with their special someone, yours is looking to jump back into the dating pool and prove themselves able to not only get the number of another Sim but have a good date with them (and maybe even get a kiss!). Time to head to the bar, club, or venue you think will have the most opportunities to get some phone numbers! Ruleset.

March 4 - March 10. Death Follows You, Watcher!
In this twisted challenge, your original Sim takes on the role of Grim Reaper's disciple, walking from world to world and facilitating the demise of Sims in multiple ways. Ruleset.

March 11 - March 24. Upgrade Bingo.
Is there anything more satisfying than crossing off a task on your to-do list? Maybe not, but doing it bingo style adds a twist to it. Help those Sims out in the world by upgrading their appliances and getting a mark for your upgrade bingo card simultaneously. Ruleset.

April 1 - April 7. Collector's Box.
Mission incoming. Fill this box with the most valuable collectibles before time runs out. Will you and your partner beat the competition? Ruleset.

April 8 - April 21. Townie Skill-a-Thon II.
The first Townie Skill-a-Thon was four years ago and saw significant participation, so it's time to put a fresh coat of paint on that event. You'll only have one week of in-game time to play, so we're knocking out many of the original restrictions. Time to get your skills on! Ruleset.

May 6 - May 26. 2024 Pam Marsden Memorial Baby Boomer Challenge.
With Mother's Day fast approaching, you know what that means...it's time again for the annual forum favorite -- the Baby Boomer Challenge. So, do forum co-founder Pam proud and have as many children as you can. This challenge also has twice the weight of a regular season event, so players can earn far more simoleans. Ruleset.

June 3 - June 9. Unlucky Chef: This Challenge is on Fire!
The team's original idea was to have everyone dive into the Unlucky Chef Scenario. Unfortunately, after testing, it's clear that Scenario is bugged (almost impossible to start fires), so we're hosing you down with Plan B. Do your research, and you can get fires started. Will you make progress toward becoming a Celebrity Chef? Or will you go down in flames? Ruleset.

June 10 - June 23. Aspiring Story Mode.
Begin by making a Sim in CAS, no story mode. Actually, wait. Let's try story mode. Ruleset.

July 1 - July 7. It's a Rewarding Life - Part I.
Part I of It's a Rewarding Life focuses on unique rewards purchased from the Rewards Store. Participants can continue their file in the Part II challenge, so there will be an extra layer of strategy (and extra reward) for this event's players looking ahead. Ruleset.

July 8 - July 21. It's a Rewarding Life - Part II.
Part I of It's a Rewarding Life focuses on unique rewards purchased from the Rewards Store. In this Part II challenge, you can continue your Part I file and now focus on unique career rewards obtained from your household over the next two Sim weeks. Ruleset.

August 5 - August 11 Spoils of Handiness.
24 Tasks for 2024 showed your Sims what and how to upgrade, but they didn't really get to enjoy the fruits of their labors. It's time for another handiness-focused challenge - and this one is all about the moodlets your Sim earns with their handiness skill! Ruleset.

August 12 - August 25. 15th Anniversary House Flipper Challenge.
In honor of Carl's Sims 4 Guide and the forum's upcoming 15th anniversary (August 31st), the team has put together a house flipper event in which you may live in 15 different Sims 4 premade homes. A key strategy will be to host various types of social events to add to your multiplier. Ruleset.

September 2 - September 8. The Hits Keep Coming - Part 1: The Next Big Thing.
The team is offering up another two-part challenge for September. You'll take the role of an aspiring music manager to search for potential childhood artistic talent and nurture them through their teen years while juggling the Business career (part 1). Ultimately, your two wonder kids grow up and become Young Adults, embark on a 14-day world tour, and write multiple songs (part 2). Ruleset.

September 9 - September 22. The Hits Keep Coming - Part 2: Going Global.
The team is offering up another two-part challenge for September. In Part 1, you took the role of an aspiring music manager, nurturing your aspiring musicians through childhood & adolescence while juggling the Business career. Now, in Part 2, your two wonder kids grow up and become Young Adults, embark on a 14-day world tour, and write & license songs while you promote them by joining the Social Media career and gaining followers. Ruleset.

October 7 - November 17. 2024 Sims 4 Challenge Tournament Finale: My Swan Song.
There are no plans for another Dynasty challenge, so the team is incorporating many Dynasty elements into this Finale. Nearly all aspects of the game will test you. The scope of this challenge is such that you will need to create two separate files. Yep. It's a biggie, so here we go. Oh, and don't forget that this Finale carries triple the weight of a regular Tournament event, so there is real potential to move up the ranking and increase your chance of a solid finish -- if that sort of thing is important to you. Ruleset.
