Children's Age Keeps Fluctuating?

Hello all!

if this question has already been asked i am so very sorry, but i need answers please! I am playing a teen runaway challenge and my teenager had 13 days to become a young adult, then when she went to sleep and the next morning, her age is now 20 days to young adult. is this some kind of glitch/ it happened also when my toddler was becoming a child in previous game. can somebody help!
