Households not loading?

I recently downloaded mods, don't know if that effects it, and also recently downloaded sims 4 on laptop. After I click play, I got to the worlds screen, but the household doesn't follow me. Also, when I go and click the household again in the Library, all that pops up instead of my household is the winged llama icon. How do I fix this?

I am not sure why the house doesn't follow you to which ever town you've chosen.

When you see the Llama in the library it means that a file or files maybe missing or corrupt, therefore the game cannot read them. You'll either need to recreate the household or re-download them. The post linked below gives an idea of how to remove Llama items from the library.

If you feel it's an issue with mods, you can remove the mod files, delete the cache files and add them back a small batch at a time or one by one deleting cache after each test. See post linked below for more information.
