Some players have reported that they aren't able to do SimFest or that tables and chairs disappear from the Showtime lots. (
Flyin' V's Coffee House;
Mick's Master Karaoke;
Port A Party Mini Warehouse;
Hoi Polloi Event Center or the Binder Clips Center).
The table and chairs are suppose to disappear during shows, but reappear during normal operations. However sometimes they don't or don't for a long while.
This issue\bug is in the default lots that are in the community lots library as well.
For example, the tables/chairs are too close together and may have too many show floor markers for the Simfest items to work properly in any of the lots. You may also want to remove some of the seating so that the Sims can watch the show, as it seems the Sims don't really need the seating when Sims are performing shows.
You'll need to edit the lots to fix them.
Players can re-add the tables and chairs, but they will likely go missing again. Even if player isn't using the lot. This is normal gameplay. However, there are a couple of things that can be done.
1. Remove the table and chairs and just leave the Show Floor Table Makers.
2. Replace the Show Floor Tables Markers with the Bench Markers so Sims have somewhere to watch the show. - This can be done using Buydebug.
You can also re-arrange the tables/chairs so the place doesn't look so empty, as seen in the last photo below. You may also see more Sims showing up to the show with replacing the show markers.
Note: If you don't place these markers, Sims won't show up to watch the show. -- It also maybe easier to do Simfest with the bench markers.

How To Replace Show Markers:1. Go into the lot you want to replace the Show markers on.
2. Bring up the cheat console by pressing Shift Ctrl C together and typing in
testingcheatsenabled on3. Bring the cheat console up again and type in
buydebug on.
-- To get to Buydebug mode - Buy Mode > Sort by Function > [?] > Misc. Objects. Use the filter content button to the right of the UI and filter by Showtime.
4. Find the Show Floor for Benches (marker)
I deleted most of the tables and chairs, placed the bench markers then added back some tables and chairs so the place doesn't look so empty. -- I had to go to Edit Town and back into the lot to get the bench markers to show. Not sure if it's a bug or not.
