Hello.
Well, I won't rant about it but if someone knows why it works this way, feel free to tell me... because I find it annoying. I did move a female sim in with her boyfriend today. And while he lives in Willow Creek the girl used to live in Newcrest. She bought the veterinary station next door and acted like the boss, hiring staff and so. But now when I did move her to an other world she lost all control. The roommate is set as the owner now... Sure, the money for the clinic came out of the family founds but still...
I also remember having one of my sims working at the clinic. She did a good job but when I moved her from "outside" to "inside" world (the sim live in Oasis Springs now) she lost the job and was not available for hiring anymore.
And I can not help to ask myself why they did code the game that way... It's very stupid because it almost makes me scared of letting my sims interact with any "working" NPC, like staff at restaurants, gym coaches, etc. It's not what I'm used to from old Sims 2. Sims could be moved from one hood to and other and still keep the job/ownership of lots. Maybe this was fixed in a later patch, I don't know...
