Cheat box not working *Fixed*

Hi, does anyone knows why a cheat box will not load? I've been pressing the usual Control+Shift+C on the keyboard and nothing is showing up on my screen, my keyboard is working fine and I have removed any mods I had installed but it's still not showing up, I have updated, reinstalled, and repaired it but no luck, has anybody else had this issue and if so, how did you fix it?

Any help would be appreciated

Thank you for mentioning what you've tried. If you haven't already, please try resetting your Sims 4 folder to see if that will help. Try a new save to test to see if testingcheats works for you.

If resetting your Sims 4 folder and trying a test-save works for you then add back in your current save and test to see if cheats are working.

After the last update, not today's, i had to start using this one to get mine to work.

Hi guys, thanks for your help... the problem has now been resolved. I followed the advice above from MrsFlynn and sorted out my files and save games, although, when testing the game after it, it still didn't work, so I uninstalled the game then reinstalled it completely even did a repair game (before re-installing it again, just to make sure) once the game restarted the cheat command worked, so I put all my saves back, re-tested it and it worked! I'm a happy simmer again.

@alleykat_69 you might also want to check out your graphics card. I had to go into mine just now and unbind those keys from a control key in my AMD Relive hotkeys.
