How do I purchase empty lots to develop?

I've got more than four million simoleons. So I figured now is the time to buy some additional lots and develop on them.

But I can't figure out how to do that.

You can purchase lots via the phone or computer - with your active household.

Click Phone > Real Estate and Travel Services
- Move
- Travel
- Check Real Estate to purchase various homes or community lots.
- Become a Resort Owner
- Purchase Additional Home

Click computer > Real Estate
- Check Real Estate to purchase various homes or community lots.
- Purchase Additional Home
- Become a Resort Owner

You can also purchase lots via Edit Town mode.

Click Options > Edit Town - Select a lot to purchase and build on by using the Build/Buy button.
