The Gold Digger LTW
« on: April 11, 2021, 08:04:51 AM »
Hey guys, your vast pool of knowledge is needed again.

Can this LTW be completed by having the spouse drink a Ghost potion made with the chemistry table from Generations?
Can it be completed by having the spouse go through the Autumn Festival's House of Horrors from Seasons?

Any advice in general on completing this LTW?

I haven't tried either of those methods but when I most recently completed Gold Digger, it wasn't completed when the dead spouse was a ghost but after Grim had left the premises, so I'm doubtful.

My two pieces of advice:

1. Make sure you meet the spouse at their home before you marry them or move them in. That's how it registers that they're rich.
2. The Gold Digger has to actually see the death! My harrowing story about this is when my rich spouse died on the other end of Bridgeport and I had to make sure his wife was taking the fastest car we had (Motive Mobiles are so slow). There really wasn't much time to spare. I probably wouldn't separate the two again.

Thanks, Trip :)

So, if I understand this correctly, if the spouses are already living together and married, this LTW is uncompletable? Example: Beau Andrews from Sunset Valley, who is already married and living with his wife Victoria, loads with this LTW. He cannot complete it unless he finds a new wife then?

I have always changed Beau Andrew's Lifetime Wish when I've played him. I've used the Happiness Reward to change the lifetime wish to something I actually want him to achieve.
