Create a Style - Slow to Load?

Does anyone else have to wait a long time for the Create a Style to load the different patterns, mine can take up to Five Minutes sometimes loading the Geometric patterns. It gets really annoying. Is there a way to speed it up?

Mine feels slow most of the time, but I don't know why.  Sometimes if I click on the current pattern buttons, it will speed up a little.  By current pattern buttons, I mean the squares on the CAS interface that show the patterns of the item you're currently working on.

Mine is a little slow, but it's more like 20 seconds, not 5 minutes. This happens mostly when I delete the cache folders and then hit CASt and it opens up in one of the menus with the most patterns, such as Metals and Woods. It gets gradually faster in every session, but restarting the game makes it go back to being slowish.

Mine takes a while, too, and it helps to do what Pam suggested.
Good luck, as a slow Sims game is a huge pain
