Problems after last update

I'm not sure what the heck happened with my game but since the last update i can't play past the first loading screen, the game keeps spamming this

and if i try and ignore it the game won't ever load into a lot. I can't very well insert a disk for a game that i never had the disk for to begin with. To be clear it is a legal digital version of the game, can anyone please help me figure out what i need to do to fix this?

They have mentioned they'll be trying to get a patch out sometime this week.

I would grab my Saves folder and do a re-installation.
