Need a laptop that supports the sims 4

Hi
I need a cheap laptop to play the sims 4 on
The laptop will only really be used to play the sims and maybe the occasional internet browse
I saw this laptop and was going to get it but could someone please let me know if it will work with the sims?

This will not run Sims 4. The AMD A processors aren't made for gaming they are more of a daily task, office/school type. It also doesn't have dedicated video card or adequate cooling to play games.

Here's one that I found with the link you provided that is better than recommended specs.

No, as i3 processors aren't made for gaming, they are more made for daily tasks (office/school), browsing web, video, listening to music and other light tasks. You're better off with an i5 or i7, if you want to do any sort of gaming.

This one also doesn't have a dedicated video card and it doesn't have adequate cooling either.

Please keep in mind that while Sims 4 looks like a "light" game it is not. It needs a better processor and dedicated video card to run the game well without issues.

The one I linked is the best/cheapest I can find. If you have a strict budget it maybe a good idea to wait and save up more, as a realistic budget for a laptop is in the $800-$1000 or more range. Desktops are cheaper and you get more computer for the money. Those range between $600-$800 or more.

If you want to play sims 4 then always check the minimum requirement on laptops.

1.Minimum requirements: basic setting

Dual-Core Processor with + 2.3GHz, 4GB RAM, Intel HD 4000+

2.Recommended Requirements: High setting

Quad-Core Processor with + 3GHz, NVIDIA GTX 960M or 1050 and beyond + 8GB RAM.

Yes, just by specs alone it will play Sims 4. However, I see a problem with storage.

It's recommended to have 256-512 SSD for your main drive (Think Windows and other programs)  and a 2nd hard drive 1TB so you can have room for data such as saved games, mods and custom content, screenshots and various other saved data. Specially if you'll be playing other games as well.
