Extracted Sims 3 - all the DLC and the base game is missing?

I wanted to go back to The Sims 3. I extracted all the DLCS and the base game. The base game wasn't there it was missing. How do i solve this problem? What causes it?

It sounds like something may have not downloaded or installed correctly? If you're feeling up to it, try downloading and reinstalling again. When something like this has happened to me, I use Ccleaner or some other kind of registry cleaner after the uninstall.

To clear our any left over files that could create problems for a new reinstall. Then try downloading and reinstalling.

Also, something that just popped into my head.... Did the game install correctly.
