NPC Science Geek?

When I shiftclick on the mailbox (in the sims) I get an option to force NPC's. I know them all already, but one of them is named as Science Geek. When I click that nobody arrives so now I only can rely on my brave friendly members around here.
Who of you know who the Science Geek is and where he is good for?

I can`t get him to come with that cheat either. I assume that he either was removed and no longer exists or that you may catch him around town, possibly near by the science facility.

I believe you can catch him at community lots like the Central Park, but for that, you have to wait a lot. Maybe a day or two. Good luck.

From what I've read, there is a random chance that when a sim household moves into a new home that the home will be invaded by bugs. If you have a bug infested home, the science geek will come to catch the bugs.

You know those little challenges you have sometimes before moving into homes? That's what Science Geek is for.

Initially I thought the NPC Science Geek actually DOES appear, but like the Grim Reaper, you'd have to pause the game "really quickly" and try to look for them before they disappear. I've never seen them myself.

@Laurencuis: That's intresting. XD I never thought of that. I thought the science geek was just a person w/ level ten science career and he'll/ She'll come and perform experiments on your household items.

One time I clicked that out of curiosity, and Blair Wainwright's mother (forget her name) came. She's in the science career so I'm guessing thats why she came. She immediately left though so I don't know what the purpose of it is.
