What is Kit doing in Granite Falls? Dancing the Egyptian?
It's something they do to mock other sims when they hit them in a mud fight, I think.
Chapter 8Kit’s teen years passed by in a rush. Kit gained the snob trait upon aging up to teen, so I decided he’ll go into the Food Critic career. Most of his time was therefore spent leveling up cooking and then gourmet cooking, and finishing up Scouts. I also had him adopt a dog, as taking a dog for a run raises fun really quickly. Here’s Shadow:

One of her traits is Adventurous, and I had each member of the family go on an adventure with her, but nothing much happened.
Robin and Sable aged up soon after Kit.

Sable is on the left and also gained the snob trait, and Robin became a bro. I had Robin train Shadow up, here she is training the Play Dead command.

The sim drops to the floor a few times in a very dramatic manner, then the dog does the same. What purpose this command is meant to serve I don’t know, but it’s funny.
These are the only pictures I seem to have of them as teens. There were around, I promise, but I guess they didn’t do anything interesting enough to warrant a screenshot.
Catarina on the other hand was busy, busy, busy. She spent her days alternating between parties and freelance jobs. She worked through ten writing jobs easily, getting to level 7 writing but no further. Most of the parties were routine, but there was the Weenie Roast where there were two fires one after the other and everybody kept refusing to put them out, therefore 0 tasks were completed and the party failed:

Catarina also spent the required time at various community lots, where she spammed the ‘take a picture’ interaction in order to get her ten good friends.

This is Evie, one of two potential spouses for Kit. She's a neat, active vegetarian, but she's been a young adult for a while now and as I want Kit to complete university before having children she might be too old for him.

This is Becca, a neat, active bookworm. She's also a young adult, so for now Kit is just friends with them both.
And then all of a sudden Catarina was done, with the exception of one party. It was time to wrap up some loose ends before Kit’s birthday. First she released all spirits on the lot into the Netherworld. The graves are still there to mourn, but she felt it right to allow the spirits to move on.

Then her Snaggle Flusters were put on display in the kitchen.

Lastly Kit’s inventory was completely emptied, and then it was time. All of the family’s friends attended, and the house was full of fun and laughter.

I'm really going to miss Brindleton Bay, it's such a beautiful world.
The party went on until early morning, but eventually everybody tired and left. Kit and the girls went to bed, but Catarina stayed up. Though she was proud of herself, and had faith in her son to continue the dynasty she’s started, she felt a sense of loss too. He would be leaving to live in another town and she would no longer be able to guide him or comfort him when things went wrong.

She didn’t express her sadness to Kit though, not wanting to dampen his excitement. She was happy and smiling when it came time to say goodbye the next day.

I know this was a fairly long period of time to put in just one update, but very little happened. I was getting very bored by the end, so I’m happy to be onto the second generation.
